Single Tooth Implant
Permanent. Natural. Complete.
A single implant replaces one missing tooth — from the root up — without affecting the teeth beside it. The most conservative, most durable solution for a single missing tooth.
Why an Implant Beats
Every Alternative
When a tooth is missing, you have three options: an implant, a bridge, or leaving the gap. Most people don't realise the true cost of the cheaper choices — not financially, but biologically.
A dental bridge requires grinding down two healthy adjacent teeth — permanently destroying them to support the false middle tooth. A gap left unfilled begins destroying jawbone within months, and the neighbouring teeth start shifting and tilting. An implant is the only option that preserves bone, leaves adjacent teeth untouched, and provides a permanent, root-level solution.

Consultation & CBCT Scan
We take a 3D cone beam scan to assess bone quality, volume, and the exact position of nerves and sinuses — ensuring safe, precise implant placement.
Implant Placement
Under local anaesthesia, the titanium post is placed precisely into the jawbone. Most patients feel pressure but no pain. The appointment takes 45–60 minutes.
Healing Period (Osseointegration)
Over 2–4 months, the titanium fuses permanently with your jawbone through a biological process called osseointegration. A temporary crown is worn during this time.
Custom Crown Placement
Once integrated, a custom porcelain crown colour-matched to your adjacent teeth is permanently attached. The result is indistinguishable from a natural tooth.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the full process take?
Typically 3–5 months from implant placement to final crown. The longest part is the natural osseointegration process (2–4 months). Clinical appointments themselves are relatively few and brief.
Will the implant look natural?
Yes — completely. We use digital shade matching and custom ceramic crowns crafted to match your adjacent teeth precisely. Most patients cannot identify their implant in photographs.
What if I don't have enough bone?
Insufficient bone at the implant site can often be corrected with a bone graft — either at the time of implant placement (small grafts) or as a preparatory procedure. CBCT scanning allows us to assess and plan this accurately.
Can I get an implant if I'm diabetic?
Well-controlled type 2 diabetes is not a contraindication for implants. Uncontrolled diabetes significantly increases complication risk and must be stabilised before treatment. We assess medical history carefully at consultation.
How do I care for my implant?
Exactly as you care for natural teeth — brushing twice daily, daily flossing (including around the implant crown), and regular professional cleaning. Implants cannot decay but can be affected by gum disease if hygiene is neglected.
